SLAM XX1 PE
Back in 2006, SLAM Magazine published their 100th Issue, and who else would you put on your milestone cover? MJ of course! In this issue, they put up a contest where they were giving away only 23 pairs of a special Jordan XX1 PE Promo make-up with a “SLAM100” stitched on the side. All you had to do was buy an issue, rip out the contest form, send it in, and cross your fingers.
I didn’t do any of those. Somehow I got ahold of my pair, thanks to some good friends. This is actually my second pair, as I let my first pair go. I eventually had the urge to track down another pair so here they are for your viewing pleasure.
They have a smooth buttery grey upper, along with a white patent leather piece on the back. You’ll also find some orange on the ankle collar, IPS pods, and of course the signature stitch. These are definitely a nice, clean, and rare shoe to add to any collection.
