1988 OG TRUEBLUE III

Here’s an original 1988 pair of Air Jordan IIIs in True Blue form. I gotta start out by saying that these things are absolutely gorgeous on person! So gorgeous that I’m putting up more pics than usual on this Sneaker Profile of mine today. It’s especially hard to find a pair these days in DS or VNDS condition. Why? It’s because people back then wore them mainly for one reason…To help them be like Mike on the court, not to store them in their closet for hibernation.

I’m sure you’ll first notice the oversized NIKE AIR badge on the back. Under closer inspection, you’ll eventually notice subtle details like the red behind the tongue, the NIKE on the outsole, red colored insole, dark elephant print, etc. Another thing to note is how thin the elephant print is on the toe.

Everyone who complains about the new Retro quality can just sit there and smile at these pics…Quality is definitely top notch.
